This feature is particularly beneficial when various caregivers are responsible for drop-offs and pick-ups, as they can easily transfer the stay-in-car base between vehicles.
Unlike many seat bases, this new Evenflo base incorporates a SafeZone™ Load Leg, a telescoping support leg with easy-to-read indicators that help stabilize the seat base for a safer ride. This feature can reduce crash forces by up to 50%. The SureSafe™ LATCH system with guides offers the option to use the lower anchors for an easy and secure installation, or the belt-lock off feature can be utilized to achieve the same level of installation using the vehicle's seatbelt.
The Evenflo Rollover Test, which simulates roof-to-ground contact, an impact responsible for the majority of injuries in a rollover event, has been conducted on this car seat base. Additionally, the base meets or exceeds all applicable Federal Safety Standards and Evenflo's Side Impact Test Standard, ensuring its safety performance.
The Evenflo LiteMax Infant Car Seat is compatible with this base, allowing for extended use from 4 to 35 lbs.
